You’ve worked hard to develop the systems and processes in your business but do they get the results you designed?

If you haven’t come across the term ‘sunrise meeting‘ before, this could be an approach you can use to try and blend your team and your business systems together.

A sunrise meeting is a brilliant way to ensure that your team are focused on the activities that drive value and results for your customers. The approach also ensures that your systems and processes operate in the way that they should.

The essence of the meeting is that it’s:

  • Short.
  • Attended by a cross section of staff that represent the various processes.
  • Blunt – yes / no questions only.
  • Held near the start of the working day.
  • Aligned with your systems and processes.

I’ve recently uploaded a video to YouTube for our Fraction ERP software. It provides an overview of the benefits of running a meeting of this nature, how you can create your own meeting agenda and how our ERP system can help to run a sunrise meeting.

I hope the video gives you some ideas on how to set up your own sunrise meeting. If you want some further ideas, then check out my book of the same name. You can pick up a copy at Amazon, Apple Books, Barnes & Noble, Kobo and more.

I hope you enjoy running a sunrise meeting. This is one of my ‘go to’ tools when helping a business to get control over their systems, their processes and their results.
